After the BCBike race last year (www.bcbikerace.com), I went for a little spin down around UBC. Found this sweet little single track trail that seemed to head around the ocean. So, I'm biking along this thing having a good time till some naked fella appeared out of no place. Hmf, I said... guess he's hot. Then I started biking along the beach and noticed a couple of heads in the tall grass. Guess people are out getting sun tans. Then a couple of more naked people. Then a whole beach of naked people!
I wasn't fitting in. Took my ride and got outta there.
oh yah, forgot to mention... careful where you go downtown van. I was down there for work about 2 years ago (doing the north shore thing on my time off). And, went downtown for super a couple of times. Guys were smiling at me and very friendly... Found out there is quite the female-male district down there. Just be aware if someone offers you money and a place to stay !!! (no, that didn't happen to me)
